Caring for your silver

Aether jewelry is made from 925 sterling silver, with semi-precious stones selected for their individual character. Silver naturally changes over time and develops a patina — a part of its character that can be refreshed with proper care.

01 — Chemicals

Avoid contact with household cleaning products, chlorine and other harsh chemicals.

02 — Water

Avoid prolonged exposure to seawater and chlorinated water. Remove your jewelry before swimming or bathing.

03 — Perfume & Cosmetics

Apply perfumes, creams and other cosmetics before putting on your jewelry and allow them to dry completely before wearing your pieces.

04 — Storage

Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, preferably in its box or pouch and away from humidity. Keeping pieces separately also helps prevent scratches and tangling.

How to clean your silver

For everyday care, gently wipe your silver jewelry with a soft, dry cotton or microfiber cloth.

If your piece needs a more thorough clean, use lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap and gently clean it with a very soft cloth. Rinse carefully and dry it completely.

For pieces featuring semi-precious stones, avoid soaking or using abrasive cleaning products, as different stones may require different care.

A little note

Silver naturally oxidizes and may darken over time, especially when exposed to humidity, cosmetics and air. This is completely normal. Regular gentle cleaning will help restore its brightness while preserving the character of the piece.
